Good vs. Best

I only like things I am an expert at. I do not like blogs. I cannot put pictures or links on these. I will have to sit down with one of my blog expert friends someday and make my blog cool. And I cannot eve comment on Natalie's blog today. I think that might have something to do with this computer, however, which is a 6536 model from like 1912. Good year for computers.

And I wanted to tell Natalie that a thought clicked in my head today. A long time ago Carolyn Clarke (a friend's aunt) asked me if I new a guy named Dave Cole. I didn't know him, but he had asked her if she knew me since we are both from Twillingate. Years later Natalie mentioned this Dave to me and explained who he was. A year later they became darlingly close. Then this month Carolyn Clarke e-mailed Natalie as a fellow teacher saying they will be working together this fall. It has all come full circle. I love it when life does that.

I also wanted to tell Natty that I enjoy her postings of Chambers. He is an interesting guy. I was thinking today about something he wrote entitled "Good Versus Best". The key thought being that it isn't the worst that is the enemy of the best. It is the good life we see blinding us from the best life that God has intended for us. Now I just need to figure out which is which.
